Food was amazing, and love the concept of having sushi of various types revolving past you for you to select and eat. Dinners and other special orders are delivered by a toy semi truck, bullet train, etc that are remotely controlled to bring things directly to your table from the kitchen. Love the concept and the execution. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!
Great staff, great food, clean and modern inside. The delivery vehicles (Optimus truck, bullet train, etc) were fun, too. Def will visit again.
Kawa has quickly become me and my partners favorite place to go. We even have out of state friends drive up to go with us! The food is always fresh, the atmosphere is clean and lively, and most importantly- the service is sublime. Teresa, the hostess, greets us every time with a huge smile and always makes sure we leave satisfied and laughing. The entry way is FULL of cute Polaroids of smiling customers around the glass bubble wall, and it has tons of fun things for kids and adults alike to enjoy. If you're looking for a new experience, don't want to break the bank, and just want good quality sushi-- Kawa is a great stop!
I was so excited when I visited Cincinnati and my friends took me here. I've always wanted to try a place like this! It was amazing. I didn't realize you could also order food from the menu on top of the revolving food. They did have a fun selection but you also had to be fast about getting it off the belt. There were 5 of us so it was more of a pointing and telling the person next to the belt what you wanted. You do pay per plate, so keep that in mind especially if you go with a group. Overall everything was delicious and I got to try things I've never had before. Also the restaurant is just a super cute little spot. I can't wait to go again but probably not with so many people. I would highly recommend for the experience!
Fun experience, and good food! I don't even eat sushi, (hubby does!) but I had options. Great date night or family night idea. We sat at the "counter," but there are booth options too. Restaurant was clean, and there were several servers to help if we needed assistance. I'd love to see them on Open Table app.
I absolutely adore this place! I've been three times already, & twice I couldn't resist going back solo. Parking is never an issue with ample space available, thanks to its convenient location within a strip of businesses. The moment I step in, my eyes light up with excitement at the vibrant atmosphere. Whether seated at a booth or at the bar, every spot offers a fantastic view of the sushi coming around. Even on a bustling Monday evening, they efficiently managed the crowd by taking my number & promptly seating me. One of the highlights is the robot waiter delivering beverages & soups, while different vehicles on tracks bring your selected items from the electronic menu. I've indulged in the gyoza twice, & each time they were delicious. The spring rolls were delightfully crunchy. There is a plethora of rolls to choose from, including favorites like the Spicy Girl (my #1), Sunday Morning, Crazy, Pink Lady, Ruby, Tokyo, & Magical rolls, & I've savored every bite. The portion sizes are just right, & the pricing is extremely reasonable, making it easy to try various options. For dessert, I've sampled the cream puffs, fried Oreos, & fried cheesecake, with the cheesecake stealing the show for me, though my husband favored the Oreos. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, this time with my parents, & I can't wait for them to experience this unique restaurant.
We tried this revolving sushi and we had a blast watching all the sushi go around, they also had some truck and trains that delivers your order that are not sushi and a delivery robot that delivers your drinks The service was good too, the goal was to not need a server but the servers that were there help you when you need help Let your server know if it was your first time and they'll give a quick explanation on how everything works!
This was such a fun experience! I met a couple of friends here for dinner this evening. It was the first time for two of us, second time for the third. This has been a bucket list experience for a while now, I'm so glad we went! We all tried a variety of different rolls, my favorite was the Bengals roll. It was delicious. The seaweed salad was also very good. California roll is a classic and one I consistently order, there's held up in comparison to others I've had. We were so wrapped up in the moment we didn't capture many pictures. It was fun to see the plates rotate by our table, and grab what looked good as they went. The various delivery methods were cool to. Our drinks came out on a robot. Dessert was also contactless delivery by smaller robots that have a track above the conveyor. For dessert I had the green tea cheesecake. It was fantastic! Mildly sweet, great flavor, the crusty also had good flavor with a little bit of crumble to it. I did manage to remember to take a picture of it! I will definitely be going here again soon, and every chance I get going forward!
